16:00 Buses departing from Port of Tallinn Passenger Terminal D and from Tallinn airport to Viljandi
19:00 Arrival to Viljandi, drop-off luggage at the hotels

Monday, 10 July
9:00 Craft themed lecture
One of the lectures will be held by a former Viljandi city master Marta Konovalov (formerly Moorats). Marta is a lecturer at the Department of Accessory and Bookbinding Design at the Estonian Academy of Arts. She is currently writing a doctoral thesis on the topic of 'Repair and re-creation of textiles'. “The purpose of my practice-based research is to value existing clothes and resist disposable fast fashion. I want people to see repaired items not as a sign of poverty, but as a symbol of spiritual wealth,” says Marta.

Field trip day: buses leave from the parking area behind Sakala Centre and Viljandi Department Store. Please find the departure time from your personal timetable.
The destinations are:
- Järvamaa in Central Estonia;
- Mulgimaa in South Estonia;
- Setomaa in South East Estonia;
- Soomaa in South West Estonia.
Lunch and one coffee break will be arranged as a part each field trip.

9:00 Lecture 'How to take good photos of craft items?' by Sandra Urvak
Sandra Urvak has studied photography at the Helsinki University of Applied Arts. She identifies herself mostly as a photographer but has also studied native textiles and been engaged in handicrafts as a form of creative self-expression for many years. Since 2012, Sandra has been a photographer in NGO Rahvarõivas' project to photograph the folk costumes from all Estonian parishes and gather them at rahroivad.folkart.ee. Sandra has been conducting various courses for craftsmen on taking photos in home conditions.

All participants must choose three different workshops that are carried out during the camp. Individual timetables will be given after registration. Please see the workshop options here.
The registration to the camp includes 2 steps - in step 1 you need to insert your personal contact etc information, step 2 is about the workshops and practical information related to the camp. These two registration steps are located on different sites - please be sure to fill in both of them! Find registration related information here.
The organisers reserve the right to make changes in the programme. Locations will be specified with the participants of the camp.
