University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy offers two microdegree programmes in the autumn semester of the 2026/2027 academic year, aimed at professionals across all sectors who want to develop their creative skills and use them to grow their businesses, realise their creative potential, and achieve their personal goals.
In a world where technology is advancing faster than ever, the skills that cannot be automated are becoming increasingly valuable—creative thinking, self-leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to recognise new opportunities.
This programme will help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, develop a creative mindset, and learn how to apply design thinking tools to both professional and personal challenges.
Great ideas emerge every day. Success belongs to those who can turn ideas into projects, projects into results, and results into meaningful impact.
This programme combines knowledge of entrepreneurship, marketing, and project management with practical tools to help you develop new initiatives, understand customer needs, design compelling value propositions, and manage projects from concept to successful delivery. The skills you acquire can be applied in your own business, organisation, or community initiatives.
These microdegree programmes are designed for entrepreneurs, managers, project managers, specialists, teachers, creative professionals, and anyone interested in developing their knowledge and skills, regardless of their professional background.
Both microdegrees are part of the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy's English-language Master's programme in Creative Project Management. They can be completed as standalone professional development programmes or serve as the first step towards earning a Master's degree.
