The 5th Viljandi Repair Festival will take place on 19 September 2026 at the Vilma Building and courtyard of the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy.

University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy will host the House of Europe project in Autumn 2026.

Viljandi Culture Academy has joined NGO Slava Ukraini’s charity campaign to collect woollen items for Ukrainians. Knitted items are collected until 30 November 2022.

From 3 to 9 October, the UT Viljandi Culture Academy hosts the intensive week of the Erasmus+ project TUNE involving nearly 60 traditional music students and teaching staff.

The UT Viljandi Culture Academy has signed a cooperation agreement with the French La filière training centres for performing arts and theatre technical arts (Centre de Formation d'Apprentis du spectacle vivant et de l'audiovisuel and Centre de Formation des Apprentis des métiers techniques du Spectacle Vivant et de l’Audiovisuel), allowing for annual traineeship exchange. From 11 to 14 January, the French partners visited Viljandi Culture Academy to get to know their Estonian colleagues and discuss further opportunities for cooperation.
