From February 9-11 University of Tartu Viljandi Culture academy is organizing its second International Winter academy at a cosy forest cottage in Männiku. During three days participants can discover Estonia’s cultural spirit and passion. We welcome all foreigners, doesn’t matter if you have been here for 20 years or have just arrived and need answers to most burning questions about Estonia and Estonians.
International Winter Academy offers you a magnificent natural environment to learn about Estonian language, our culture, traditions and history. The program includes a plethora of inter-disciplinary seminars, workshops and cultural events. You will be offered hands-on knowledge about Estonian music, food, material heritage and of course our beloved sauna traditions.
The International Winter Academy brings together people from all walks of life, therefore it is a perfect opportunity to form friendships, gain new skills and knowledge and enjoy the collegial spirit.
