Viljandi Culture Academy’s alumni Ursula Rummel’s performance “|ÜLE|” will perform on the 4th of October in the University of Arts Helsinki.
Ursula is tackling the question of limits: “Limits that have been set for us are endless. What’s considered a limit by one person might be just the beginning for another person. Often times limits can feel harassing but in a way they are the only thing that gets people going and things moving.” “I find that people are mostly limited by themselves. It applies to me as well. Being yourself is often accompanied by a certain fear – but why is that?”.
Performing are Elina Masing, Katrin Kubber, Liis Konsap and Ursula Rummel. Rummel is supervised by Tiina Mölder. The first performance took place on the 4th of April in Viljandi.
The collaboration of Viljandi Culture Academy and the University of Helsinki has been for three years. The performances of Viljandi's dance students are performed in Finland and the students of Helsinki are visiting dance week every spring.
The performance will take place on the 4th of October at 19.00. You can find out more here.
