Admissions to the curricula begin in June

Submission of documents for admission to Tartu University starts on St John’s Day

Documents can be submitted from 24 June to 7 July in Application and admission systems SAIS and 1-7 July in the main building of the Viljandi Culture Academy.

The following curricula are opened for the next academic year in the Culture Academy:

APPLIED HIGHER EDUCATION AND BACHELOR’S DEGREE:
Leisure time manager/teacher*
Jazz music
School music (BA)*
Culture management
Dance arts
Traditional music
Native construction
Native metalwork

The curricula marked with * have also an Open University study.

MASTER’S DEGREE

Sound engineering
Inherited technology
Design and Development of Virtual Environments
Music teacher
Traditional music

Local exams are also required for admission in Culture Academy. The exams take place 9-15 July in Viljandi, for admission to the Open University 21-23 August.

From 2013 admissions to the Information management curriculum of the Information Studies Department take place in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education in Tartu. Also the Master’s Course in Knowledge and Information Management takes place in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education in Tartu.
