In this workshop, historic block printing patterns from Estonian heritage are brought to life through modern technology and hands‑on craft.

In a one‑day workshop, participants will make a practical carry bag suitable for everyday use, weekend trips, and sized to fit as airline cabin baggage. The outer fabric is cotton panama printed with historic block printing patterns from the Estonian National Museum collection, reproduced using modern digital printing technology. The bag is completed with a waterproof lining, reinforced base, and vegetable‑tanned leather handles attached with screw rivets. Participants will learn accessible sewing and leatherworking techniques that combine textile craft with functional design.

*All necessary materials and tools are provided. However, participants are welcome to bring their own personal sewing kit if they prefer.
