Estonian Traditional Music

If you would like to get to know how to play traditional Estonian instruments from renowned professional musicians and would like to sing Estonian folk songs and get to know the rich musical tradition of Estonia, then this is just the right study module for you.

This module gives you the theoretical and practical insight into the rich field of Estonian traditional music with its typical instruments such as kannel, bagpipe, fiddle and Estonian diatonic accordion and the runo singing tradition. Of course our teachers will teach you also how to use modern instruments like flute, guitar, saxophone and drums to interpret Estonian traditional music.
